Quintet should be next to Ed Sheeran in the event of August 12
The One Direction must sing at the closing ceremony of the Olympics in London.
The boyband, graduate of the program The X Factor, was first turned to the event in early July, when a report suggested that the closure celebrate the best of British music.
According to the tabloid The Mirror, the quintet will sing along with Ed Sheeran.
The Who, Take That, Queen and the Spice Girls are also being related to the party.
Recently, Niall Horan tweeted: "I do not know if it's just me, but the animation in London is unbelievable! Games will be incredible."
The group's spokesman refused to comment on the likely presence of the One Direction.
