Nicki Minaj says supports Barack Obama for U.S. presidency

Nicki Minaj commented on the recent controversy surrounding his political preference.
The rapper made the news when the track "Mercy (Feat. Nicki Minaj)" by Lil Wayne, featuring Nicki was disclosed and in one of his verses she said: "I am a Republican and vote for Mitt Romney." After that, she would have received even death threats via Twitter.
Mitt Romney is the Republican candidate who is opposed to Barack Obama in the U.S. presidential elections, and has very conservative views on issues like abortion and gay marriage.
When asked about the verse from Nicki Minaj, Barack Obama joked that it's probably some of the stick-egos of the singer making their claims.
The voice of "Starships" turn to hear the comments of the President, clarified the controversy and found that supports the Democratic Party. "Thank you for understanding my creative humor and sarcasm Mr. President. Always manage The smartest ..." Nicki tweeted, adding the phrase "sending love and support @ barackobama."
The rapper also tweeted saying, "Incredible! Now I can tell my grandchildren that the first black president of the United States was willing to answer a question about Nicki Minaj."
