On the anniversary of
Amy, Foundation promises to reach $ 1 million
The Amy Winehouse Foundation, which raises money for
charity, revealed that already got more than 230,000 pounds (about $ 750,000)
since the death of the singer.
The Foundation was created by Amy's father, Mitch Winehouse,
and celebrated his first birthday on Friday, September 14th, the day that Amy
commemorate 29 years and promises, by the end of the year, will raise £ 500,000
(about £ 1,600,000).
Mitch Winehouse dedicates the money raised to young
patients, poor, special needs or addictions.
The Foundation also awarded with the sales of the album
"Lioness: Hidden Treasures", a posthumous collection of unreleased
recordings from Amy, which was launched in December 2011.
The singer died on July 23, 2011, at age 27. Events are
being planned for 2013 to mark the date on which the British would complete 30
years.
