Headphones are made
from recycled material and launched with Coca-Cola
Will.i.am launched a campaign to make the act
of recycling law, manufacturing and selling a line of headphones for £ 218.
The headphones Ekocycle line, which will be
produced with recycled materials, will be launched in conjunction with
Coca-Cola and should hit stores in the second half of 2012.
According to will.i.am, "If you think of
recycled products now, none of them is legal. You have to bring the sensitivity
of art and fashion for this technology to transform a bottle of something
nice."
Will.i.am is not the only famous investing in
headphones, Dr. Dre released in 2008, the line "Beats by Dre" and
recently sent some of his line headphones for the athletes of the British
delegation at the Olympics.
Swimmer Tom Daley was seen wearing the
headphones, while the tennis player Laura Robson thanked the brand on Twitter,
the breaking of the rules of the Olympics: the athletes can not promote their
individual sponsors.
