Taylor Swift will release new song at the VMAs 2012

Besides the show country star, the broadcaster confirmed Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller and some of the presenters of the ceremony

 

Taylor Swift, who just confirmed a pass by Lightning Brazil on September 13, is the latest name to join the lineup of the Video Music Awards 2012. The Mtv confirmed that country star will play for the first time live on stage of the award, a new song from her upcoming album, "Red."

The singer also stars in the latest advertising the awards, opposite the presenter of this year, the actor and comedian Kevin Hart.

Besides this surprise, the station released the names of some of the celebrities who will deliver the statuettes, including Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller and five athletes of American gymnastics, Gabby Douglas, Jordyn Wieber, Aly Raisman, McKayla Maroney and Kyla Ross, winning gold in the latest edition of London.

Other names already confirmed shows are Pink, Alicia Keys, Green Day and One Direction

The ceremony of the 2012 Video Music Awards will be broadcast directly from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 06 September.
