Singer One Direction makes investment in the
British capital
Zayn Malik,
one of the five-member boy band One Direction, invested 2.2 million pounds (about
$ 7 million) in a house.
According
to the tabloid The Sun, the young artist bought a six-bedroom property in Hyver
Hill, north London, home of the same region that received while participating
in the program The X Factor in 2010.
"Zayn
is trying to be smart with your money by investing in a home," said a
source. "He fell in love with the house. The decisive factor for the
purchase was a large indoor pool. He is already planning some of these by the
pool for when the band is back in town."
Currently,
the quintet is in the U.S., where the debut album Up All Night topped the
charts. The first LP from the British ranks fourth among the best selling
albums of 2012 in the country.
Recently,
reports have realized that the musicians were planning to release a new album
later in 2012.
